Set in the heart of the village, the Dalwhinnie Village Hall is owned and managed on behalf of the community by a local charitable trust, the Dalwhinnie Community Development Trust (DCDT).

Currently overseen by six Trustees, the Trust is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the hall, and for generating sufficient income through grants, donations, letting and other means to ensure that the hall remains a resource for the Dalwhinnie Community.

Ewan Carr is the chair of the Trust, and the other Trustees are Ian Philp (treasurer), Jules Akel,  Bill Carr (secretary), Hannah Watson and Frank McInally. The Trustees typically meet four times a year and the minutes of their meetings together with updates of the wider work of the Trust can be found by following the link below.

The hall is available for let to villagers, visitors and local organisations for meetings and functions, with catering available if requested. Villagers are able to use the hall at no charge for personal events, such as birthday parties or bowls evenings.
